Air Gear

Last Updated: May 28, 2012

9.00 (very good) You know, compared to Ten-Ten, Oh Great! 's previous work, I think, AG presents a nice contrast from the blood, babes and boobs before mentioned, yet it is still chained to this oversized final arc, where the entire world suffers with the battle agains the "final boss". Finishing with over 350 chapters, Air Gear is a great work, but all the dragging has caused me to lower it's grade by 0,5. Not (only) because I have a short patience, but also because it just takes too long to finish. The art, however, as a trace of Ito's style, is splendid and the humor quite lightening. Long story short, if you have a lot of free time in your hands, and does enjoy the author, reading this marvelous of humanity's flying wish a must.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Dec 27, 2011

10.00 (excellent) I loved it. It's interesting to see how the simple school day-a-day life gets an interesting twist just by adding the shoukanjuu. I mean, of course it's something magical, or hi-tech, given the school itself, but it brings an interesting turn of events for the entire seris as a whole. The animation is another point to be considered, and a huge aspect too: the way the animators use patterns and the color on certain scenes is just impecable.

Bakemonogatari

Last Updated: Dec 27, 2011

10.00 (excellent) I TOTALLY LOVED THIS SERIES!!! Even if the plot is relatively poor compared to the amount of mysticism present on the series, the impecable animation it has just makes up for every kind of lack the work coud possibly have. one of my favorite episodes is when Araragi has to fight Kanbaru: all those flying tables and the color shifting, even when he is swung out and about by his guts, the coloring and animation kind of made me forget those were actually his internal organs being ripped off of him... Nasty I lnow, but this can be looked over. It's a great work.

It used to be aired on TV, but as soon as the series finished, they changed the schedule and it was pretty much gone.
I like specially when those chibi kitties appear...
Kyouko was nice too.

Death Note

Last Updated: Dec 27, 2011

9.50 (excellent) Wa ha ha! I finally found something I have actually watched and do not have the manga! it is a good work nonetheless, but not one of my all-time favorites. What I personally dilsiked about this series is the deep thinking that os ever so present throughout the series. Light has to many monologues, which makes the seires a little heavy and slow to be followed. It takes a lot of patience to understand the series itself, and the action is barely there, but it still represents a must see for fans of psichological and detective stories.

8.50 (very good) Read it hole. It's kinda like another sticky mahou shoujo story, but it offers a different view of shinigamis, other than Death Note and Bleach.

Fullmetal Alchemist

9.00 (very good) The manga is kinda like the equivalent of the Brotherhood isn't it? Or would it be the opposite? Anyways, it's almost getting over here im my country. One volume at each 6 months.

High School of the Dead

Last Updated: Jan 14, 2012

10.00 (excellent) IT'S SO ADDICTING!!!
Although it's also a little terrifying. What drew my attention the most was this American-B class-movie style, with zombies biting people and spreading what seems to be a disease. Unfortunately, as it was labeled as a failure, so there won't be a continuation. What's more, tha manga has stopped too...

8.00 (good) My sister started reading after I bought the first vol. Then I gave up buying and she took over the manga...
Overall is not a bad one, but the art is not the best ( I am very picky when it comes to art ) and the story is getting on my nerves already....
Finished reading, though,

No. 6

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Dec 01, 2011

8.50 (very good) Originally started with the manga version, but it was going on too slow. The overall story is good, and there's an interesting plot behind it all, but it all progressed a little too fast. There could be bigger detailing about Eliulias (?), the parasite bees, the organization of No.6 itself and the Forest People. Also, I was quite surprised to see that Bones kept the kiss scene, even though their love was never quite developed throughout the series (trying not to let out too many spoilers here XD).
Overall, a sci-fi anime I enjoyed. Something that doesn't happen all that often.
